Shipping Policy

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom.

Delivery to other locations may be arranged upon request and may be subject to additional charges, customs requirements, and extended delivery times.

3. Processing of Orders​

• We aim to dispatch orders promptly; however, dispatch times are estimates only

• We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders where necessary (e.g. stock availability, payment issues, or operational reasons)

4. Delivery Times

• Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates only and not guaranteed

• We shall not be liable for any delay in delivery, regardless of cause

• Time of delivery shall not be of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing

5. Delivery Charges

• Delivery charges will be calculated and confirmed at the point of order

• Any additional costs (e.g. remote area surcharges, special handling, or failed delivery charges) may be passed on to the customer

6. Risk and Title

• Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery

• Title (ownership) of the goods remains with A&A Howden Supplies Limited until full payment has been received in cleared funds

7. Delivery Requirements

• You are responsible for ensuring that delivery details are accurate and that suitable access is available

• If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details or lack of access, additional charges may apply

• We reserve the right to charge for re-delivery or storage costs

8. Inspection on Delivery

You must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

• Any shortages, damage, or discrepancies must be reported within 14 days of delivery

• Failure to notify us within this timeframe may result in your claim being rejected

9. Failed Deliveries

If delivery is unsuccessful due to your fault (including absence, refusal, or incorrect details):

• We may charge for re-delivery and/or storage

• We reserve the right to treat the order as fulfilled

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Transport or courier disruptions

• Supply chain issues

• Severe weather

• Government restrictions or actions

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business

• Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied
